New Executive Director

Susan Pringle

Susan joined KTA as Executive Director in February 2010. She has a twenty year history of involvement in the arts and theatre, specifically. She received her BFA from Wright State University in Design and Technology to pursue a career in stage management. She worked for many years with regional opera, theatre and dance companies as a stage or production manager.

39th Annual KTA Conference

Please plan to attend the conference this year from November 4-7, 2010 in Danville, Kentucky. Due to its central location in the state, we expect an outstanding level of participation from high schools, community theatres and arts enthusiasts. Centre College, the Norton Center for the Arts, Danville High School and West T Hill Community Theatre are hosting KTA and our members. Sign up now!

Consider submitting a play for the second Roots of the Bluegrass New Play Award. Selected plays will be presented at West T Hill Community Theatre during the opening of the Conference on Thursday, November 4, 2010.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports the Kentucky Theatre Association with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. The National Endowment for the Arts, via the Economic Recovery Act of 2009, also supports the Kentucky Theatre Association.
