Community Theatre Festival Winners
The KTA Community Theatre Festival was highlighted by two outstanding performances in 2007: Open 24 Hours, performed by Merely Players of Owensboro; and Restless Spirits, performed by Bardstown Community Theatre.
Open 24 Hours took the top honors at the awards, and will represent Kentucky in the Community Theatre Festival at the SETC Convention in March. Bardstown Community Theatre earned the First Runner Up spot at the festival.

High School Theatre Festival Winners
The KTA High School Festival for 2007 was held November 9 and 10 at the Van Meter Theatre at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
14 High Schools participated in the event, with SCAPA (School for the Creative and Performing Arts @ Lafayette) winning for its performance of Brian Friel’s Lovers.
The 1st Runner Up prize went to Shelby County High School, and 2nd Runner Up went to Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.
